Dr. A. Sreenivasa Sarma is deeply passionate about teaching Sanskrit and Astrology, with a goal to excel as a professor and make meaningful contributions to society. He successfully earned his Ph.D. from the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, where his research focused on “A Critical Study of Astrological Insights in Valmiki Ramayana.” Additionally, he holds MPhil and MA degrees in Sanskrit and has garnered notable achievements in various competitions, workshops, research projects, and as an astrology consultant.

Dr. Sreenivasa Sarma completed his Ph.D. in, “A Critical Study of Astrological Insights in Valmiki Ramayana” under the mentorship of Prof. A. Sripada Bhat. Prior to this, he completed his MPhil in Sanskrit from the same university, delving into the study of “Muhurthadeepika vyaakhypoeatasya vidyaa madhaveeyasya vaasthu krishibeeja vaapanaadhyaayayoh sameekshaatmaka adhyayanam” under the guidance of Prof. A Sripada Bhat, who serves as the Dean of Veda Vedanga at NSU. Dr. Sarma also holds an MA degree in Sanskrit, where he achieved an outstanding 75.55% and was awarded 2 Gold Medals in Astrology during his academic journey. In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Sarma was also awarded 2 Gold Medals during his MA studies, further attesting to his dedication and scholarly achievements.
Dr. Sarma’s educational background also includes a BA in Sanskrit from the National Sanskrit University, Tirupati, where he specialized in Sanskrit, English, Literature, and Computer Applications. This strong foundation has equipped him with a deep understanding of both traditional language studies and modern technological applications.
Beyond academia, Dr. Sarma has a rich array of achievements and experiences. He has won more than 40 prizes in various fields including Elocution, Theatre, Singing, and Recitation at several state-level competitions. Additionally, he showcased his acting skills in the tele-film “Paropakaaram” by SCCL in 2009, demonstrating versatility in the arts.
Dr. Sarma’s contributions extend to organizing Sanskrit workshops and serving as a trainer in various Sanskrit teaching and speaking camps. He also played a leadership role as the convener of the English club at NSU University for two years, highlighting his ability to engage and mentor students beyond traditional academic settings.
Furthermore, he has trained twice in All India Training camps for Ancient Indian Astronomy, showcasing his commitment to holistic teaching and traditional knowledge systems. Dr. Sarma is also an avid researcher and content creator, having published many research papers and articles in both National and International seminars.
